CONGRATULATIONS to the Heartland Mutiny, Scorpions and Heat for a fantastic start to the season and their success in the Ankeny Fall Kick-Off tournament. The U16 Boys, Heartland Mutiny, on August, 26th, 2007 were crowned the U16 boys champions at the Ankeny Fall Kick Tournament! The team battled through a very difficult bracket, beating the Nebraska State Champions (Nebraska Rush) 4-2 and the Des Moines Menace 2-0 in order to reach the championship match. The U16 Heartland Mutiny subsequently faced the Iowa State Cup champions, Ankeny Fusion, and won the game 2-1 in a hard fought and toughly contested match. Both teams where a pleasure to watch a produced a memorable championship!
